YAY for good news!!!

We got the house! Found out today and July 15th is official move-in day. We are SO EXTREMELY EXCITED!!! It's about time my love moves up and we get to live together. =]]

This is my FAVORITE part of the house:
JETTED BATHTUB!!!

And the backyard is AMAZING! House sits on 2.5 acres =]]

There is only one problem with the move in date...and that is me having to push my surgery out a little farther. This stinks because I hurt so bad but it is also okay because it gives me a little more time to try to get the down payment money for surgery together.

Some more exciting news is that my ideas for my pendant are becoming reality very, very soon! It's going to be a gift to myself for Banjo being gone almost one year and me surviving through it...and an early Birthday present. It's taking a while to get my ideas on paper but that's only because it has to be perfect because that's how our love is. I am SO happy and thankful that my awesome friend, Heather is helping me design it!!

Flat Joe visits Central Oregon!

Flat Joe arrived to Bend, Oregon safely on 5/18/10 after his last journey to Napa, California!

A little about Flat Joe, before we get started. Joseph, an amazing jewelry designer has created a necklace character and he goes by the name of Joe. He travels around to meet new people and to visit different  places.

Joseph's jewelry consists of custom hand-made necklaces that come in different styles and they can also include gems, birthstones, pearls, and crystals! He also repairs any kind of jewelry and buys used gold, too. You can catch a glimpse of his beautiful jewelry here--Joseph Allen Designs

First off, he met me right out of the mail.

Next, he was introduced to the amazing view of Bend, Oregon from our back deck.

After a little rest from the trip, he met our three Alaskan Malamutes. First, he met Mac. He is a six year old, blue-eyed Malamute. Mac usually spends his time being pretty lazy, so Joe thought hanging with Mac before the puppies would be a good idea!

After Joe's quiet, relaxed visit with Mac he was introduced to Chanel. Chanel is the baby-girl of the family. She is two years old and always ready to pounce and have fun. She is always excited to meet new people, and as you can see, she was very interested in Joe!

And last, but certainly not least, he met Teako. Teako is our "baby-boy" of the family. He is two years old and although a month and a half younger than Chanel, he outweighs her by 50 pounds!

After hanging out with Joe for a little while, Teako felt comfortable enough to let Joe lay on his paw and take a cute picture. Teako is 109 lbs and not even close to being full-grown!
We are in the midst of artificially inseminating Chanel and maybe sometime in the near future, Joe can come back to visit us, and Chanel and Teako's puppies, too!

Joe's next excursion was to The Candle Source to play around in some wax and make some candles! Here is Joe with a few Scent Trays right after they dried and before the labels were put on!

Here is Joe modeling one of the final products! Creme Brulee was one of Joe's favorite scent's! He says "yummmmy!!!" =]]

Joe also loved "hanging" with a few of the new electric warmers that can be found here. He made for a terrific model!

And last but not least, Joe wanted to finish his trip from the shop by showing all of his followers one of The Candle Source's flyers! =]]

While Joe, Chanel, Jenn, and her boyfriend Michael were taking a Sunday Drive, they stumbled across something they've all four never seen before! A tree completely full with shoes! We're talking ALL kinds of different shoes! Adult shoes, baby shoes, and even flip-flops nailed to the tree. It was definitely a place we'll all never forget and was definitely a "Kodak moment!"

We will call this: The Tree of Shoes, in Alfalfa, Oregon

Here is Joe hanging out at the Reservoir in Prineville, Oregon. Was a rainy day but the sights were absolutely gorgeous and we couldn't resist taking a few pictures!

Joe's last trip in Central Oregon was Memorial Day Weekend to the sand dunes in Christmas Valley, Oregon. Christmas Valley consists of 11,000 acres of sand where lots of people visit year-round to ride on the dunes. The sand dunes were created when Mount Mazama erupted over 7,000 years ago. The eruption also made Crater Lake, in Oregon, as well.

He got to experience the beautiful sunsets, ride on quads, a go-kart, and a dirt bike!

Here is Joe hanging from my best friend and Michael's brother; Loren's hand at the dunes.

Here is a picture of Joe hanging from the handle of our Raptor in the beautiful sunset.

Okay, so Joe and I thought it was just too beautiful, not to have just one picture!

Joe spent a lot of time riding on the Raptor with Michael; Jenn's boyfriend. Here is Joe and Michael for a quick pic before they were off riding the dunes again and riding wheelies, crazy men!

Although it's hard to see, Joe is hanging from Michael's wrist in this picture. They rode this wheelie for a long, long time and had a blast!

Got to catch a picture of Joe on the Predator quad before riding in action again!

Here he is again while the Raptor was parked. It wasn't parked much this weekend!

Joe hopped off the quad for a minute to take a break and snap a picture laying in the sand.

Here is Joe showing all of his viewers that he was, in fact, riding on an Oregon ATV!

Joe took a break from the wild and crazy wheelie riding, to hang out with Michael's kids. Here he is on the utility quad with Audrey!

He also spent time with her riding around on our go-kart, too. This was a very fun experience for Joe to just relax and enjoy the scenery of our campsite!

And last, but certainly not least, he rode with Michael's youngest; Tyler on the dirt bike!

Jenn and her family had a fantastic visit with Flat Joe and hopes that he had a great time in Central Oregon! He is looking forward to his next visit...where will his adventures take him next??
